description

The muffler of the motor grader also has a service life. In the process of using the equipment, how should the owner judge whether the muffler of the motor grader needs to be replaced? 1. The service life of the muffler is at least 2 years and at most 3 years. The service life of large vehicles and engineering equipment is slightly shorter, and the service life of light cars is slightly longer, generally up to 3 years. If the service life exceeds the service life, consider replacing the muffler. 2. According to the power loss, if the insertion loss exceeds 6db and the power loss reaches 3%, you should consider replacing the car muffler, otherwise it will lead to a waste of power and cause unnecessary usage costs. 3. For vehicles used in places requiring fire protection, the car muffler should meet the gb13365 standard, and should be equipped with a spark extinguishing device, otherwise it should be replaced. 4. The muffler has passed the quality inspection before leaving the factory, and can leave the factory only if it is qualified. If it exceeds the qualified period of the quality inspection, it should be considered for replacement. The muffler must be replaced after a certain period of use. In special working environments, attention should be paid to the effect of the car muffler to prevent accidents. Removal steps of exhaust pipe 1 Disconnect and disassemble the heated oxygen sensor; 2 Remove the front exhaust pipe nut and gasket from the catalytic converter; 3 Remove the front lower exhaust pipe bracket; 4 Remove the front exhaust pipe from the upper front exhaust pipe mounting frame; 5 Remove the front exhaust pipe from the rubber lifting ring at the connection between the flange of the front exhaust pipe and the flange of the third muffler; 6 Remove the fixing nut from the flange of the front exhaust pipe to the flange of the third muffler; 7 Remove the front exhaust pipe and gasket; 8 Clean the front exhaust pipe flange and exhaust manifold sealing surface; 9 Check the front exhaust pipe and catalytic converter or the third muffler for holes, damage, cracks, or other damage that causes exhaust gas to leak into the passenger compartment or trunk.
